Anna Christine (A. C.) Seiple is a licensed counselor, retreat leader, instructor, and researcher. She loves integrating neuroscience with spirituality, honoring the entirety of our created being in therapeutic work. Her favorite space for therapy and retreats is outdoors, grounding healing work in movement. She holds two master's degreesone in clinical mental health counseling and one in biblical studiesand she spent time in a spiritual formation fellowship during her graduate studies. A. C. is currently a postgraduate researcher at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, exploring conversations between ancient Christian contemplation and present-day therapeutic interventions.
Whether she is teaching in a university classroom or a dance studio, she enjoys coming alongside others and finding new ways to continue her own lifelong learning. While A. C. loves to learn in academic settings, her greatest teacher has been painful paths of trauma and loss that have shaped her perspective and longing to cultivate safe and meaningful spaces for others to move through, and with, the trauma and loss they have experienced. When she's not researching or writing, A. C. is soaking up time outdoors, moving freely in a dance class, or going on an adventure with her husband. She loves good food, a good laugh, quality time with friends and family, and finding ways to playfully move through life each day. Connect with A. C. on Instagram @a.c.seiple and find her writing and guided meditations on acseiple.com.
