Charlie Vittitow, DMD, AAACD
Charlie Vittitow has served as a dentist, a businessman, and a missions pastor. After practicing dentistry for twenty-six years, he co-launched mPower Approach, a system for training indigenous Christians to meet the basic dental needs of their community as an extension of their ministries. For the past twenty years, mPower has served in more than twenty-five countries, equipping the local church in frontier mission fields to provide dental hygiene and safely extract abscessed teeth.
Charlie also co-founded several successful medical equipment companies and continues to use that business experience in Kingdom business opportunities around the world.
For twelve years, he served as missions pastor of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, which allowed him to see the impact of wholistic ministry in advancing the gospel, both locally and in some of the hardest to reach regions of the world. He has also seen firsthand the enormous synergistic Kingdom impact that the global church can have when the unique gifts God has put into each part of the body of Christ are deployed in unity to help local churches around the world become more relevant to their communities.
Charlie and his wife, Sherry, have been married for more than forty-three years and have three grown children and ten grandchildren. Based in Kentucky, they travel frequently to spoil the grandchildren, encourage churches on short-term missions opportunities, and wet a line wherever the fish are biting.
