Valerie Ellis

Writer, speaker, consultant, trainer, and certified teacher Valerie Ellis makes her authorial debut with Let's Go! Bible Adventures. Valerie is the founder of the online resource Our Everyday Parables (OurEverydayParables.com), which encourages and supports parents in using children's literature and everyday moments to spark authentic conversations about faith and compassion with their kids. Valerie is passionate about helping kids and parents connect with God and each other in the everyday moments. Her books are designed to serve families at the intersection of faith and fun.

Ohio-born and Texas-raised, Valerie lives with her husband, Josh, and their two sons in Houston, Texas, where she works with nonprofit organizations on fundraising and program evaluation. She is an active member of MOPS/MOMSnext, SCBWI, and Texas Library Association.
