Tyndale House Publishers is proud to celebrate two of its titles recognized in the 2025 Christianity Today Book Awards for Fiction. These awards highlight books that make a lasting impact on readers and the Christian literary landscape.

Winner: The Collector of Burned Books by Roseanna M. White
Reflecting on the book, Anthony Cirilla, associate professor of English, College of the Ozarks, wrote, “The Collector of Burned Books masterfully unites historical realities with the personal drama of its characters. Centered around the Nazi occupation of Paris, the novel explores the censorship of literature and the resistance which the written word can provide not only to fascism and tyranny but also to the harmful stereotypes which even those on the correct side can fall into.”
Additionally, the Award of Merit was given to What the River Keeps by Cheryl Grey Bostrom.

Biologist Hildy Nybo returns to her childhood home to work on a river restoration project, where past wounds resurface and new relationships help her confront old fears. What the River Keeps is a moving story of healing, memory, and finding freedom.
Both novels showcase Tyndale’s commitment to publishing stories that are not only engaging and well-crafted but also resonate deeply with faith and humanity. These honors affirm the power of storytelling to inspire, challenge, and encourage readers in their walk of faith.
