D. R. Jacobsen lives in central Oregon with his wife and two boys. He holds a BA in English from Westmont College, an MA in theology from Regent College, and an MFA in creative writing from Seattle Pacific University. Besides working as an editor and collaborative writer, his essays appear in various journals and anthologies, and he is the author of Rookie Dad: Thoughts on First-Time Fatherhood.
