Gina Cavallo

is a survivor of childhood sexual and physical abuse and survivor of human trafficking. She is a leader in the anti-human trafficking movement and founder and executive director of the non-profit organization We RISE. Gina is the lead consultant and vice president of the board of trustees of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking. She is a well-respected survivor leader in the anti-human trafficking community, frequently called upon to speak not only from her personal traumatic experience but also as an influential educator and a powerful presenter who heightens awareness to human trafficking, domestic violence, and child abuse. She has spoken to varied audiences including law enforcement, medical personnel, first responders, universities, faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies. Gina is also a state certified advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault victims. Recently, Gina was appointed as a commissioner to the New Jersey Commission on Human Trafficking. She is also the recipient of the 2020 National Liberators Awards for Survivor Leader.
